MAXIM-I provides information technology solutions for businesses, with a focus on internet and intranet solutions. Included in the services is hosting for the World Wide Web.
We reserve the right to suspend or cancel a customer's access to any or all services provided by us if we decide that in instances where customers have certain access rights, an account has been inappropriately used or otherwise.
Any of the following content cannot be stored on MAXIM-I servers:

Illegal Material - This includes copyrighted works, commercial audio, video, or music files, and any material in violation of any Federal, State or Local regulation. |

Adult Material - Includes all pornography, erotic images, or otherwise lewd or obscene content. The designation of "adult material" is left entirely to the discretion of FastHosts. |
|
|
|
Warez - Includes pirated software, ROMS, emulators, phreaking, hacking, password cracking. IP spoofing, etc., and encrypting of any of the above. Also includes any sites which provide "links to" or "how to" information about such material. |
|
Minimum contract for Hosting is 1 year.
HIGH BANDWIDTH USAGE:
In rare cases, customers may find that they exceed their server resources. In such instances, customers will be notified and asked to upgrade their account to cater for the site requirements. In extreme cases where bandwith use is unreasonably exceeded customers will either be billed @ £1 per Mb / day or where necessary, we reserve the right to impose a suspension on the site temporarily before invoicing and contacting the client.
PAYMENT POLICIES:

For Internet Design and Development we operate a 25% deposit of the full amount prior to any commencement of work. |
|
|
|
For Hosting we operate a prepay basis. Although MAXIM-I reserves the right to change prices of accounts or services at any time all pricing is guaranteed for the period of prepayment. |

|
|
For Training we operate payment in full before the date of training. All funds must have cleared proir to this date. |
|
|
|
For other services we operate a 25% deposit of the full amount prior to any commencement of work. |
|
|
|
Invoices will either be sent by e-mail or post. |
|
|
|
All payment is in UK sterling and must be received no later than 30 days after the invoice date. |

CANCELLATION AND REFUNDS
|
|
MAXIM-I will not refund customers for cancellation of any service other than Hosting or Training. |
|
|
|
MAXIM-I reserves the right to cancel the service at any time. In this event customers will be entitled to a pro rata refund based upon the remaining period. If a customer contravenes MAXIM-I's terms of service a refund will not be issued in the event of a cancellation. |

|
|
Customers must provide at least one calendar months notice for cancellation of a Hosting service after the initial 12 month minimum contract. Any cancellation received before the end of a 12 month hosting contract will not receive any refund. |
|
|
|
Customers must provide at least 14 days notice for cancellation of a Training event to receive a refund. Cancellations received prior to the 14 day cut off will receive an 80% refund. No refund is provided in any other case. |

|
|
No refund is available to customers cancelling any other service provided by MAXIM-I. |

INDEMNIFICATION
Customer agrees that they shall defend, indemnify, save and hold MAXIM-I harmless from any and all demands, liabilities, losses, costs and claims, including reasonable attorney's fees asserted against MAXIM-I, its agents or 'Partners', its customers, officers and employees, that may arise or result from any service provided or performed or agreed to be performed or any product sold by customer, its agents, employees or assigns. Customer agrees to defend, indemnify and hold harmless MAXIM-I against liabilities arising out of; (1) any injury to person or property caused by any products sold or otherwise distributed in connection with MAXIM-I's site and hosting service for customer sites; (2) any material supplied by customer infringing or allegedly infringing on the proprietary rights of a third party; (3) copyright infringement and (4) any defective products sold to a customer from the customers' site hosted by MAXIM-I or linked to MAXIM-I.co.uk; (5) acting as an agent of MAXIM-I with out prior written agreement.
